Another Drill to Help Batters Prepare to Hit

Here is another great way to help players develop rhythm while loading the bat to swing. In this video, you will notice the hands are moving back as the stride is going forward in a smoothmanner. Most inexperienced hitters get moving too fast with either their upper or lower body, or have no movement at all to prepare to swing. Having those players work with this rhythmic movements can help them develop a smoothness to their movements, which will lead to better timing and more power, in time.
